Jacob Karpati’s Policies for Music Lessons
- All lessons are a minimum of 1 hour
long.
- Minimum plan: Lessons must be paid
for at the beginning of each month for 4 lessons, one lesson per week.
Cancellations will not be credited to your account.
- 16 lesson plan: you receive 1 free
cancellation when you pay for 16 lessons in 4 post-dated cheques (each cheque
is for 4 lessons, 1 cheque per month)
- 28 lesson plan: you receive 2 free
cancellation when you pay for 24 lessons in 7 post-dated cheques (each cheque
is for 4 lessons, 1 cheque per month)
- 40 lesson plan: you receive 4 free
cancellation when you pay for lessons in 10 post-dated cheques (each cheque
is for 4 lessons, 1 cheque per month)
- Cancellation policy: Money will not
be refunded for any cancelled lesson. Lessons that fall on a statutory
holiday or religious holiday may be cancelled without penalty. Cancelled
lessons will be credited for future lessons. 24 hour notice must be given to
cancel a lesson. If Jacob cancels a lesson, the lesson will be credited to
your account.
- If you choose not to take lessons
over the summer, you can per-book your time for September. Pay for 4 lessons
in advance and receive 1 free lesson.
- There is a $20.00 service charge for
all NSF or returned cheques from the bank.
- Family Discount: you will receive a
10% discount for every additional family member that takes lessons right
before or right after your lesson. Price will return to full price if the
family member discontinues lessons.
- Summer Special: you will receive a
10% discount on lessons during July and August.
- Rescheduling policy: Once a time
and day is agreed upon, you may not change your lesson time or day. There is
no rescheduling of lessons.
- If you refer a friend to take
lessons, you will received 2 free lessons for every student that enrols (for a
minimum of 4 lessons).
- The price of lesson is subject to
change with a minimum of 4 weeks notice. Any packages purchased will remain
at the original price until they are completed, at which point the new price
change will take effect.
- Jacob reserves the right to terminate
any lesson plan with refund of remaining lessons.
